Amit Goyal, MD
Amit Goyal, MD, is a structural interventional cardiologist and Director of the CICU at the Dallas VA Medical Center, Editor-in-Chief of US Cardiology Review, and co-founder—with Daniel Ambinder, MD—of CardioNerds.
In the latter capacity, he leads the overarching curriculum and has designed the CardioNerds Clinical Trials Network, CardioNerds Academy, and Medical Journalism programs. He completed his medical school and obtained a master’s degree in clinical research at the University of California, San Diego and went on to do his internal medicine residency training in the Osler program at Johns Hopkins University, where he served as the Barker Firm’s Assistant Chief of Service. He completed general cardiology as well as interventional and structural cardiology fellowships at the Cleveland Clinic.
