Jasmine Melissa Madsen, MD
Jasmine Melissa Madsen, MD, is a PhD fellow at Rigshospitalet, Copenhagen University Hospital, Denmark. She earned her medical degree at the University of Copenhagen, and her main research interests include myocardial protection in ischemic heart disease, reperfusion injury, primary PCI and STEMI, and risk stratification in patients with STEMI, particularly by cardiac magnetic resonance imaging. She serves as an editor and medical consultant at Wondr Medical. At her institution, she teaches nursing students about ischemic heart disease and manages The Heart Centre’s Twitter account. In her spare time, she enjoys doing CrossFit and playing soccer.
