Khaldoon Alaswad, MD
Khaldoon Alaswad, MD, is the medical director of the Henry Ford Hospital Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and an assistant professor of medicine at Wayne State University, where his research focuses on catheter-based treatments of the most complex coronary disease. He is passionate about treating complex coronary artery disease and advancing the skill set and toolbox of interventional cardiologists. A serial inventor who enjoys teaching future interventional cardiologists, he has been a longtime advocate for human rights and social justice.
