Ritu Thamman, MD
Ritu Thamman, MD, is a clinical assistant professor of medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, a fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC), and a fellow of the American Society of Echocardiography (FASE), where she also serves on the board of directors. She is the co-chair of ACC/Consumer Technology Association 'Virtual Care' Standards for cardiovascular technology solutions. She serves on the ACC’s Women in Cardiology leadership council and chairs the ASE’s Women in Echo task force and Echocardiography Twitter Journal Club. Her research interests include CVD in women, mitral valve prolapse, mitral annular disjunction, and innovative implementation tools for CVD.
