Wayne Batchelor, MD, MHS, MBA

Wayne Batchelor is President of the Medicine Service Line at Inova Health System, Fairfax, VA. He is adjunct Professor of Medicine, Duke University, Chair of the American College of Cardiology Interventional Sectional Leadership Council, and Vice-Chair of the STS/ACC Transcatheter Valve Therapy (TVT) Registry. He has previously served as an academic cardiologist at the University of Toronto; President of Southern Medical Group, PA in Tallahassee, FL; Board Member of Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare; and Co-Founder/President of the Tallahassee Research Institute. He has served in editorial roles for numerous cardiology publications and is internationally recognized for his clinical and research expertise in interventional cardiology, clinical trials, outcomes research, regulatory science, and healthcare disparities in medicine. He earned his Bachelor of Science and medical degrees from Queens University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada, a master's degree in clinical research from Duke University, and an Executive MBA from New York University.
