Benoy Shah, MBBS, MD(Res)

Benoy Shah, MBBS, MD(Res), is a consultant cardiologist at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust, England, and the clinical lead for the regional Wessex Heart Valve Clinic, which he established in 2018. He is the current president of the British Heart Valve Society and is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of London and of the European Society of Cardiology. He qualified from Imperial College School of Medicine and undertook junior doctor training in Oxford, London, and Southampton. His research degree was undertaken at the Royal Brompton and Northwick Park Hospitals in London. His subspecialist interests are in cardiovascular imaging and valvular heart disease.
