Kris Kumar, DO
Kris Kumar, DO, is a third-year general cardiology fellow at Oregon Health and Science University. Prior to his journey in medicine, he worked in pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics in the pharmaceutical industry. He completed his undergraduate and graduate studies at the University of California, San Diego. His internal medicine training took place at the University of Arizona in Tucson, where he stayed for an additional year as chief medical resident and junior faculty. Following completion of general cardiology fellowship, he will be pursuing subspecialty training in interventional/structural/adult congenital heart disease/peripheral interventions at the University of California, San Diego. His research interests include mechanical circulatory support, single access, and structural interventions.
