Shelley Wood

Shelley Wood was the Editor-in-Chief of TCTMD and the Editorial Director at the Cardiovascular Research Foundation (CRF) from October 2015 to March 2025. Over the course of her career, Shelley has garnered a range of awards in journalism and medicine for herself, the journalists, and the publications she’s lead. Under her editorial oversight, TCTMD grew from a niche, US-focused, interventional cardiology website into the respected, award-winning resource it is today, recognized by cardiologists internationally and across subspecialties. Shelley was instrumental in elevating TCTMD into the premier, trusted, and impartial news source for cardiology it is today.

Shelley left the organization in March 2025. Her colleagues at CRF and TCTMD are grateful for her contributions over the last decade and wish her every success in her next endeavor.
